We opened for business in 1991, back when Sechelt Inlet was an undiscovered jewel, and it was our desire to make it easily accessible to sea kayakers and canoeists travelling through this beautiful part of the world.
Pedals & Paddles is located at Tillicum Bay Marina, 8 km north of Sechelt on the east shore of Sechelt Inlet. We are situated right on the water at the end of the road. We offer secure parking and gear storage, as well as washrooms and municipal water. Due to the fact that the road ends here, your wilderness adventure starts when you leave our doorstep.
Sechelt Inlet is not only a great wilderness destination for experienced paddlers, but is also ideal for family paddling adventures. It's many Marine Wilderness Beach Parks are world-class, offering warm swimming beaches, mountain streams, fire rings, outhouses, cleared tenting areas and tent-pads. Whether you are planning an afternoon picnic, a day-long excursion, an over-night getaway or a week-long expedition, Sechelt Inlet has it all - fantastic scenery, abundant wildlife and easy-access wilderness.
We live next door to Tillicum Bay Marina, allowing us to offer customized service. Although our hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Sunday, with advanced notice we can meet our customers almost anytime that suits their schedule. We are open for business all year-round and offer great off-season rates. We also offer many other services; all designed to make your trip convenient, exciting, memorable and safe. Our proximity to Vancouver, and our flexible and thorough service make this easy-access wilderness destination ideal for travelers, tourists and locals alike.
